Talks & Encounters

Some ideas need more than a text. They need a room, people and a shared conversation.

The Atelier Homo Innovaticus already lives in an international environment of universities, innovation communities, symposia and public dialogue. Some of these conversations originate in English and are therefore presented here in their original language.

Signature Talks

Three talks. Three human questions.

01 · Becoming

“Who do I want to become?”

THE HUMAN BEING IS NOT FINISHED

On exhaustion, hope and our capacity to become otherwise

A reflection on an image of the human being that refuses to settle for the mere extension of what already exists — connecting lived experience, philosophy and the idea of the Homo Innovaticus as an unfinished human being.

Perhaps the human being has not failed. Perhaps a certain image of the human has become exhausted.

02 · Responsibility

“What am I willing to take responsibility for?”

JUDGMENT IN THE LOOP

Remaining responsibly human in the age of artificial intelligence

The question is not which human capacity artificial intelligence will never possess. The question is which human capacities and responsibilities become more important precisely because machines grow more capable.

The human being must not only remain in the loop. Human judgment must remain there too.

Human responsibility is not defined by exclusivity, but by accountability for what becomes real.

03 · Staying true

“How do I stay true to what I have recognized as right?”

PERSEVERING WITHOUT BECOMING HARD

On truth, compassion and staying true to what matters

For people who take responsibility seriously and, for that very reason, sometimes doubt their resistance, their disappointment or their own effect on the world.

Truth without self-righteousness

Compassion without pleasing everyone

Perseverance without stubbornness

Spirituality without retreating from the world

Staying true to one’s path does not mean becoming immovable. It means remaining open to correction without losing oneself.

ISPIM · Granada 2026

ISPIM Innovation Conference · Granada · June 2026

From The Innovation Tribe to Homo Innovaticus

At ISPIM Granada 2026, Hannes Erler presented The Innovation Tribe and explored a question that increasingly shapes the Atelier Homo Innovaticus: How can artificial intelligence expand human innovation without removing human judgment, meaning and responsibility from the process?

AI expands the possibility space.

Human judgment gives direction.

Innovation remains a human responsibility.

Shaping the Next Conversation

Hannes Erler is already contributing to the planning of the 2027 ISPIM gathering in Riga. The next international conversation around responsible innovation, AI and Homo Innovaticus is taking shape.

TEACHING, FOR THIS ATELIER, IS NOT THE TRANSFER OF FINISHED ANSWERS.

It is the art of opening questions so that people can continue working with their own knowledge, their own experience and their own responsibility.
