HANNES ERLER
From engineering to the question of the human being
The journey began with mechanical engineering and product development: with technology, drawings, prototypes and the concrete work of bringing something new into the world.
It moved on through product development and design, then through innovation management, Open Innovation, innovation networks and finally open innovation ecosystems.
Along the way one insight grew stronger with every project: innovation does not depend only on technology and methods. It depends on people — on trust, belonging, intuition, meaning and responsibility.
The Innovation Tribe condensed more than four decades of innovation practice into one book. The Atelier Homo Innovaticus is the continuation of that learning journey at another level.
WHAT DOES THE HUMAN BEING NEED IN ORDER TO REMAIN CREATIVE, RESPONSIBLE AND CAPABLE OF JUDGMENT IN AN AGE OF INCREASINGLY POWERFUL TECHNOLOGIES?
From practice to a thinking space
The Innovation Tribe brought together decades of lived innovation practice. While writing it, one question became stronger: the next development step is not simply another tool or method. It lies in our image of the human being.
The Atelier Homo Innovaticus continues that question as an open space for innovation, philosophy, science, art, spirituality and technological change.
